Dr. Guillaume Mullie

Educational Background
Dr. Mullie earned a Diploma of Collegial Studies in Health Sciences from Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf in Montreal, Quebec, during which time he was awarded the Governor General’s Academic Medal in recognition of his high academic achievement.
Dr. Mullie went on to complete a Doctor of Medicine & Master of Surgery at McGill University, where he made the Dean’s Honour List in 2018. Upon graduating, he completed his residency training in ophthalmology at the University of Montreal.
Dr. Mullie specializes in LASIK surgery, PRK surgery, general ophthalmology, and diagnosing and treating cataracts. He’s currently a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Hôpital de la Cité-de-la-Santé, in Laval, Quebec.
As an accomplished researcher, Dr. Mullie has been recognized through a variety of awards. During his time at McGill University, he received the Trainee Kudos Award from the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Center (MUHC) for excellence in research as well as the Dr. Mark Cohen Prize in Ophthalmology from the McGill University Faculty of Medicine.
Dr. Mullie won the Best Poster Presentation Award at the 27th Annual Respiratory Research Day of the Research Institute of the MUHC in 2016. More recently, he won the Best Poster Presentation Award at the 33rd Annual Research Day in Ophthalmology of the University of Montreal in 2021. His surgical video also won the Best Film Runner-Up Prize at the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) 2022 Film Festival in the category ‘New Techniques.’
Dr. Mullie’s work can be found in a variety of peer-reviewed journals, including the Canadian Journal of Ophthalmology, the Journal of Clinical & Experimental Ophthalmology, and BMC Medicine.
