Extensive background and training
Every LASIK MD surgeon completes four years of undergraduate studies, four years of medical school and then five years of specialized training in eye surgery. Before treating LASIK MD patients, all surgeons undergo rigorous laser vision correction procedure training. Beyond their roles at LASIK MD, these doctors continue to expand their knowledge, publishing research in prestigious scientific and medical journals as well as teaching surgeons-in-training at prominent universities.
More experience = better results
Smaller-sized laser vision correction providers are limited in the number of vision correction procedures they can perform annually. But at LASIK MD, we perform over 65,000 procedures each year.
