Dr. Michael Wandzura earned his medical degree and graduated with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan, where he previously completed a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He then went on to finish a residency in ophthalmology, also at the University of Saskatchewan.
Dr. Wandzura has a variety of clinical ophthalmology specialties, including LASIK surgery, Photorefractive Keratectomy (PRK) surgery, Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE), general ophthalmology, and the treatment of cataracts.
Throughout the years, Dr. Wandzura has worked at both LASIK MD’s Saskatoon and Edmonton clinics. He’s also been an ophthalmologist at the Lakeland Vision Institute for two decades, where he treats cataracts, glaucoma, refractive, corneal, vitro-retinal, and eye muscle problems.
As a skilled surgeon and researcher, Dr. Wandzura is routinely consulted by other medical professionals on ophthalmic topics. He graduated from medical school with distinction and continues to develop and implement innovative strategies in his work to provide the best care to his patients.
