Actor Catherine Brunet

How LASIK changed actor Catherine Brunet’s life, on- and off-screen

For actor Catherine Brunet, the joy of her job comes from recreating personalities and telling the stories of people she would otherwise not know. At 29 years old, Catherine has been acting since she was a young child, with her breakout role as Charlotte in the television series Le Monde de Charlotte. She is known for her work in Ramdam, Le Chalet and the 2014 Xavier Dolan movie Mommy, amongst many others.

But when the hassles of having glasses and contact lenses got in the way of her job, Catherine knew she had to do something about it. Noticing the impact these hassles had at just age 12, when she had trouble putting in her contacts, as well as having difficulty creating tears for crying scenes (shoutout to all the dry eye sufferers out there!), Catherine was frustrated because she also didn’t want to wear glasses for her roles.

A friend recently told her about her positive experience with LASIK and when Catherine started asking around her group of friends, they pointed to LASIK MD as somewhere they trusted with their own eyes, which made her finally look into it herself.
